Hi, thanks for visiting my website. My name is Harvinder Bahia and I am a UNBC B.ed. program Teacher Candidate in my second year in the Elementary stream and I am also a TTUC at School District 57. I was born here in Prince George and have spent most of my life in this community and deciding to attend UNBC was an easy decision to make. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I realize how important content and curriculum are in our educational curriculum, but there is nothing more important then the relations that are built with students to help make a impact on a student by fostering safe learning atmosphere and to create a community of positive learners. I have coached high school basketball teams locally in the past, which ultimately inspired me on the path to becoming an educator.
